UAE carries out 65th airdrop of aid under 'Birds of Goodness' operation, delivers over 500 tonnes of food aid to Gaza
The UAE continues its humanitarian mission in support of the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip. Today, the UAE conducted its 65th airdrop of humanitarian aid under the 'Birds of Goodness' initiative, part of Operation Chivalrous Knight 3. The mission was carried out in cooperation with the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, and with the participation of Germany, and Belgium. These operations aim to deliver relief supplies to areas that are difficult to access by land due to the current field conditions. The aid includes various essential food items and emergency humanitarian supplies. With today's operation, the total amount of airdropped aid has reached over 3,862 tonnes, directed toward supporting Palestinian communities in the most affected and vulnerable areas across the Gaza Strip. While aircraft flew overhead, convoys moved on the ground. Today, the UAE delivered 21 trucks loaded with more than 500 tonnes of food aid through the crossings, a move that reflects the expanding scope of the UAE's air and land support for Gaza. The UAE reaffirmed its commitment to working in coordination with regional and international partners to ensure the sustained delivery of aid to those in need in Gaza, through air, land, and sea, reflecting its deep-rooted humanitarian principles and its global leadership in relief and aid efforts. UAE aid ship 'Khalifa' arrives in Al Arish Port
The eighth UAE aid ship, Khalifa, reached Al Arish Port in Egypt on Tuesday as part of 'Operation Chivalrous Knight 3,' in preparation for delivering its cargo to the Gaza Strip, in continuation of the UAE's humanitarian support for the Palestinian people. The ship was received by a delegation of representatives from humanitarian and charitable organisations, along with Ahmed Sari Al Mazrouei, Secretary-General of the Emirates Red Crescent (ERC), and Egyptian officials. The arrival of the Khalifa aid ship underscores the UAE's steadfast commitment to delivering humanitarian and relief aid to the Palestinian people, especially amid the escalating humanitarian challenges in the Gaza Strip. Departing from Khalifa Port in Abu Dhabi, the ship was loaded with 7,166 tonnes of humanitarian assistance, including food, medicines, medical supplies, relief items, dates and shelter materials, for the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip. Comprising 4,372 tonnes of food, 1,433 tonnes of shelter supplies, 860 tonnes of medical materials, and 501 tonnes of health items, the shipment brings the overall aid dispatched to the Gaza Strip to more than 80,000 tonnes. As part of a continuous series of initiatives, the UAE dispatched this ship to deliver urgent aid to the Palestinian people, reaffirming its enduring humanitarian stance in supporting just causes and reducing the impact of crises in the region.

UAE completes 60th Gaza aid airdrop as total support exceeds 3,800 tons
GAZA: The UAE on Saturday carried out its 60th airdrop of humanitarian aid to the Gaza Strip, the Emirates News Agency reported. The drop came as part of the UAE's support for Palestinians through its 'Operation Birds of Goodness,' a component of the wider 'Operation Chivalrous Knight 3' program of support. The latest airdrop, conducted in coordination with Jordan and with the participation of France, Germany and Italy, targeted areas inaccessible by land due to field conditions. Supplies included a range of essential food items and urgent relief materials. With the latest operation, the total volume of aid delivered by air has now exceeded 3,807 tons. Separately, the UAE also delivered 22 medical aid trucks to Gaza in coordination with the World Health Organization. The shipment included medicines and other medical supplies intended to help sustain healthcare services and meet the immediate needs of operational hospitals, WAM reported. The UAE reiterated its commitment to supporting the Palestinian people and reaffirmed its dedication to humanitarian principles and solidarity with nations facing crisis.

UAE and Jordan lead 59th aid airdrop into Gaza
The UAE and Jordan carried out the 59th airdrop operation of humanitarian aid into Gaza on Friday, alongside seven aircraft from France, Germany, Italy, and Spain. The efforts were part of Operation Chivalrous Knight 3, which aims to deliver food and relief supplies to the most affected areas in the strip. Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, spoke by phone with Ayman Safadi, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan. The two sides discussed the latest developments of the humanitarian situation in the Gaza Strip, and ways to enhance joint co-ordination in relief efforts. UAE aid to Gaza The UAE has provided more than $1.5 billion in humanitarian support to Gaza since the start of the war with Israel, authorities revealed on Friday. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs set out the scale of the country's commitment to the enclave and pledged to continue to deliver support amid 'continuing catastrophic conditions'. According to the UN's financial tracking Service, the Emirates has delivered more aid to Gaza than any other country. The assistance includes providing medical support to 72,280 patients at hospitals in the UAE and the floating hospital in Al Arish, Egypt. In addition, over 78,000 tonnes od food, medicine, and emergency supplies have been distributed in co-ordination with international humanitarian organisations. At least 60,249 Palestinians have been killed and 147,089 wounded since the war with Israel began in October 2023, according to the Hamas-run Gazan health ministry.

UAE carries out 58th airdrop of humanitarian aid, sends 41 new trucks to Gaza for fifth consecutive day
For the fifth consecutive day, the UAE has continued its airdrop operations of humanitarian aid over the Gaza Strip, in coordination with the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan. The mission is part of the ongoing "Birds of Goodness" operation, aimed at delivering urgent relief to hard-to-reach areas affected by the conflict. Today marked the 58th airdrop under Operation Chivalrous Knight 3, reaffirming the UAE's steadfast commitment to supporting the Palestinian people and alleviating the severe humanitarian conditions in Gaza amid ongoing security challenges. With this latest operation, the total volume of airdropped humanitarian aid has exceeded 3,787 tonnes of food and relief supplies, delivered via 197 aircraft, underscoring the UAE's continued humanitarian efforts to reach the most vulnerable communities. Simultaneously, 41 UAE aid trucks entered the Gaza Strip through various land crossings today, including 12 trucks loaded with medical supplies donated to the World Health Organisation, as well as trucks carrying essential food items. These efforts are part of a comprehensive humanitarian response to support both the health and food sectors in Gaza.
